Cops seek charges in revolting 'ice bucket' prank

Outraged police in a northeast Ohio suburb are pledging to bring charges against those responsible for dumping a bucket allegedly containing feces and body fluids on a special needs student who was told it was part of the "Ice Bucket Challenge" fundraiser.
Bay Village police chief Mark Spaetzel said video of the prank is one of the most disturbing things he's seen in his career, the Northeast Ohio Media Group reported.
"To me, it's reprehensible ... that these kids would take advantage of a vulnerable teenager," he said.
WJW-TV in Cleveland reported this week that the autistic teen's mother discovered the video on his cellphone. She said her son was tricked into having feces, urine and spit dumped on him when other kids told him it was part of the popular fundraiser. She said he was embarrassed and didn't want to tell anyone afterward.
Spaetzel said police are reviewing a copy of the video, which was also posted on social media. He said investigators weren't sure when and where the dumping took place, or how many were involved. But he said all are believed to be Bay High School students.
He said Bay Village police will investigate thoroughly and are moving as quickly as possible to bring criminal charges.
School officials say they will discipline any student who was involved.
Superintendent Clint Keener said the act isn't reflective of the school's student body, which he said has many students who volunteer to try to make sure special needs students have acceptance and success at the school.
"Our entire Bay Village Schools community is heartsick over the cruel actions taken against one of our special needs students," Keener said in a message posted Thursday on the district's website. "The student and family targeted by this act have our utmost sympathy, and we will work to let this student know that we care very much about his well-being."
He also said many students and staff have taken part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to fight ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Celebrities, groups and everyday people have been on the receiving end of dumped buckets of ice and water in the highly popular fundraising campaign benefiting the ALS Association.

Top Obama Aide Concerned by Impeachment Threats

Dan Pfeiffer, a top aide to President Obama, said that the White House is taking the threat of a possible impeachment attempt by Republicans seriously.

“I think a lot of people in this town laugh that off,” Pfeiffer told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast. “I would not discount that possibility. I think Speaker Boehner, by going down the path of this lawsuit, has opened the door to Republicans possibly considering impeachment at some in the future.”
Pfeiffer's comments come days after the House took steps to move forward with Speaker John Boehner's lawsuit against the President for his use of executive authority in delaying the Obamacare mandate. Boehner has made clear that he is not considering impeachment at the moment, likely trying to avoid a political overreach that could benefit Democrats in the fall. Pfeiffer dismissed the idea that an impeachment attempt might help the President.
"I think impeachment is a very serious thing that has been bandied about by the recent Republican vice presidential nominee and others in a very unserious way," Pfeiffer continued. "And no one has even made any allegation of anything that would be within six universes from what is generally considered in that space."

The remarks come after former Vice Presidential candidate and Tea Party hype man Sarah Palin released a video calling for Obama's impeachment earlier this month. A recent CNN/ORC poll found that 57 percent of Republicans want to impeach the President.

Fashion Faceoff: Jessica Biel vs. Jennifer Lopez vs. Jennifer Hudson

By | omg! – Fri, Mar 15, 2013 6:24 PM PDT

This Fashion Faceoff is going to be epic.
Any two of these three women -- Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Hudson -- would make for a fierce bout. However, this time we have a three-way battle between the new Mrs. Timberlake, former "American Idol" judge J.Lo, and onetime "American Idol" contestant Hudson.

What they wore: A nude, lace, long-sleeved dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

When they wore it: Biel, 31, was the first to step out in the dress at an afterparty for the Dublin premiere of her movie "Total Recall" in August. One month later, 31-year-old Hudson chose it for Hearst's 125th Anniversary Celebration in New York, and Lopez, 43, tossed it on for a January appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

How they styled it: Biel added black pointed-toe heels and a Fendi clutch to the dress and loosely pulled back her locks. Both Lopez and Hudson went with half-up, half-down hairstyles and dangling earrings, but they differed in their choice of footwear. J.Lo slipped her feet into metallic-and-leather Christian Louboutin heels, and JHud selected sparkling pumps from Charlotte Olympia.
Judge's scorecard: "On the Floor" singer Lopez edges out the competition on shoes. When it comes to hair, though, Hudson's is, hands down, the champ. Biel's hair and shoes aren't my favorites, but how hot does she look rocking that dress? It makes me want to do calf raises immediately.
Who wins this round for you?
